War strains Gazans’ survival skills

Twenty one people — half of them relatives who fled the fighting — take turns sleeping because the family doesn't have enough mattresses.Gazans have become adept at coping with conflict, including curfews, street clashes and, most recently, severe shortages created by an 18-month border blockade by Israel and Egypt.
